Our Language & Culture Pathway and Dual Language classes spent time during the month of October learning about Dia de los muertos. During our unit of study, students learned about the history of the tradition, where it is celebrated, important features, and how it is different from Halloween. Families created mini-ofendas for loved ones that were displayed in the cafeteria for everyone to view.
